Journey to the Cross

Join us on Good Friday, April 3rd for a time of reflection.

Come in any time between 2:00PM and 8:00PM to walk through the journey to the cross. Each station contains scripture, questions to meditate on, and a brief activity to guide you through Jesus’ journey.

This powerful event holds space for us to connect with God on a deeper level, empathize with hardships Jesus endured, and connect His crucifixion with the greater creation story.

Christmas Eve Service

December 24th at 5:30 PM, come and celebrate God with us.

What if the thing you’ve been longing for has already arrived? For generations, God’s people waited—yearned—for the day He would come near. Through uncertainty, silence, and struggle, their hope remained: God will come. But when He did, it wasn’t with flashing lights or loud fanfare. It was quiet. Personal. Unexpected.

This Christmas Eve, we invite you to step into the wonder of Emmanuel—God with us. In Jesus, God didn’t stay far away; He came near. He walked where we walk, felt what we feel, and brought heaven to earth. In a world still longing for peace, purpose, and love, the story of God with us is as powerful now as it was that first Christmas night.

Join us as we tell this story, sing timeless carols, and reflect on the miracle of God choosing to be here—right in the mess and beauty of our everyday lives.

Help us Choose our Potluck Theme

Help us decide the theme for our after service potluck on September 14th. Voting is officially open now and will close Saturday evening, August 30th.

Our themes this year include:

Finger Foods – There’s only one simple rule: no silverware! Get creative in what you bring. This theme can be as simple, no-fuss or as elaborate as you like.
Family Heritage – Celebrate your family and your heritage with a special meal. Bring a dish that reflects your family heritage. You might be amazed at the variety of dishes to sample as well as the stories and sharing it encourages around the table.
Brunch – Who doesn’t like breakfast for lunch? Think of favorites such as biscuits and gravy, breakfast casseroles, and fruit trays all the way to shrimp and grits and Belgium waffles with a topping bar.
Comfort Food– We all have those dishes we associate with childhood and instill in us a sense of comfort. The dishes may make us fondly remember someone special or a specific time in our life. Bring a dish you crave when the weather turns or when times get rough.
Wish I Were There – Reflect on your travels and the foods that made your trip memorable or dream about places you would like to go. Recreate a favorite dish from a past vacation or create a dish from a place you hope to visit one day. This theme makes an especially engaging conversation starter.

Have You Met My Friend Jesus?

Have you met my friend Jesus?

If you asked a random person what they thought about religion they would probably say something about a bunch of rules or a moral code. They might associate it with judgement and shame and fear. Or they might feel it’s a really good idea, if only they could get their life together first. It’s no wonder that more and more people are walking away from any religious affiliation altogether and don’t feel like it’s worth their time. When Jesus stepped on the scene, the situation wasn’t so different. People claimed to be the messiah all the time but most people didn’t seem to care. But there was something different about Jesus. All kinds of people flocked to him from tax collectors to Roman centurions to woman of low social standing to fishermen. And somehow this became a movement that would change the world forever. What made Jesus so irresistible and how can we as his church share it with the world?
